This is a buyers guide that is intended to help you through your purchasing decisions. Regardless if you purchase a unit from Far North Wellness this is the most important section that you can spend time reading. It will help to ensure that you do not purchase a product that you are hoping will produce results and last a long time, only to find that you are disappointed in quality, performance and service. There are a few good companies out there that you can purchase from, unfortunately there are several companies that have very low ethics, morals, quality and service.

Five years ago we used to believe that 80% of the companies on the market built a good quality unit, but after seeing the underbelly of the industry for 5 years it seems more like 80% build poor quality units and have very poor science behind their marketing. It seems like most companies out there have no intent on striving to make a better product. Most times we only see the marketing materials and sales pitch change when a company does come up with a new idea. Rarely is there any science or truth behind it....just a lot of marketing hype. An example would be a company that decided they could sell more saunas based on "Crystals" inside their emitters. Their entire sales pictch became "Crystals do this and crystals do that" , their was absolutely no science or reasoning behind it.....just a new sales pitch. What they failed to tell people was that they were still marketing the same heaters that had been used for 20+ years filled with Zirconium Crystals.....you guessed it, "Sand" . Another company blatantly false advertises that their emitters only produce 9.4 microns but when asked for a spectral analysis of their emitters....you guessed it "nothing".  

Based on feedback and requests from our customers and the constant confusion potential clients seem to be in, we have put together a buyer's guide complete with postitives and negatives of using different technologies, lumbers etc. We hope that it remains as educational and unbiased as possible. We are passionate about what we do, but we will try and keep that out of this section so that you may use the buyer's guide as it is intended.You are purchasing a specialty product, we think you deserve great advice to go along with it.
